Usually strenuous activities and sex after leep procedure are discouraged for complete and quick recovery when a condyloma or vaginal wart is removed from the cervix. The loop electrosurgical excision operation is normally used when the Pap smear of a woman indicates that there are abnormal cells on the surface of the cervix. It will prevent the abnormal cells from turning into cervical cancer. The operation is rather safe.
