The two treatments: leep, conization, are usued to diagnose cervical cancer and symptoms such as vaginal discharge, HPV, and pain are sometimes present. There are certain advantages of cone biopsy. It finds and treats a problem on the cervix. If one or more pap smear tests and a colposcopy show abnormal cells on the cervix, the procedure is likely to be recommended to a patient.
