Leep Cone

A LEEP cone is used to treat cervical dysplasia that may have symptoms of vaginal discharge caused by HPV. The loop electrosurgical excision procedure and cervical conization are used as treatments for cervical dysplasia. The abnormal cells in the tissues of the cervix are cut away during these procedures. The tissue removed is examined in a lab for cancer cells and to confirm that all the abnormal cells were removed.
