Leep Cervical Dysplasia

When having a leep, cervical dysplasia, a venereal wart and a genital wart, are all symptoms that warrant the procedure. This is a treatment procedure for this dangerous disease. The condition is described as a pre-cancerous change in the skin on the cervix. The treatment means the removal or destroy of the abnormal skin. If a patient has an abnormal PAP smear test, the doctor will normally recommend this kind of treatment. The doctor will use a special loop electrode to remove a portion of the infected cervix. The procedure is also used to remove any tissue that is suspected to be cancerous or pre-cancerous. The goal of the procedure is to remove abnormal cells that are at high risk of becoming cancerous.
