Complication Leep

As one possible complication, leep treatment for verruca or vaginosis, is weakening of the cervix. Since a loop electrosurgical excision procedure is a more invasive procedure for treating cervical dysplasia, there are more risks involved. The most common problems that occur right after the procedure, even though it happens in about 10-15% of patients, are severe bleeding or infection.
