Leep Treatment

Leep treatment is applied for flat wart, venereal wart and other disorders on the genital area. After the procedure, a patient should not have sexual intercourse, use tampons and douche for several weeks. Possible complications may include mild pain, bleeding, itching and cervical discharge. The diagnosis is made by a Pap smear and colposcopy. If the disorders are not cut off, the development of cervical cancer is possible. This procedure is performed for removing abnormal cells from the surface of the cervix in moderate and severe forms of cervical dysplasia.
