Leep Conization

Leep conization is used to remove warts and verruca from cervical area. In case of heavy bleeding and discharge, report immediately to the doctor. Possible complications associated with the procedure are light bleeding and discomfort. The procedure is performed with a local anesthesia or with some pain reliever; it takes about 30 minutes and is performed in the physician’s office. A painless electrical current cuts away the affected tissue. During the loop electrosurgical excision procedure, the abnormal cells located on the surface of the cervix are removed with a help of a thin wire loop that is attached to an electrosurgical generator. Leep conization is used to remove warts and verruca from cervical area.
