Dysplasia Leep

A cervical dysplasia leep operation is performed, if the patient has abnormal vaginal discharge, abnormal Pap smear or a genital wart. You can prepare for the surgery by emptying your bladder right before and can take over-the-counter pain relievers, like Ibuprofen about 30 minutes before the surgery. This procedure only takes about 20-30 minutes for your doctor to perform, and is done right in the doctorís office.
