Colposcopy Leep

Performed after a colposcopy leep procedure removes the abnormalities caused by human papillomavirus though the human papilloma virus itself cannot be removed from the organism. The doctor knows where the abnormal areas are and how deep the cut should go into the tissue, he will put an acidic solution on the cervix and view it with a colposcope. By doing this he can make the procedure as successful as possible without taking unneeded tissue.
