Cancer Cervical Leep

A cancer cervical leep procedure can also be used for a penile wart and many cases of abnormal pap smear. Some women have had radical hysterectomies, and still have the abnormal cells return. This is why often times costly multiple procedures are not successful. HPV is the cause in most cases of carcinoma of the cervix, and you cannot surgically remove a virus. The other procedures are a cone biopsy or conization, ECC, or cryotherapy. The most common is a loop electrocautery excision procedure. There are several procedures that can be performed.
