Cryotherapy Cervix

With the treatment cryotherapy, cervix tissue abnormalities are removed; cone biopsy is another option, often detected with a pap smear. The term refers to a very effective ablative method of treating early stages of cervical dysplasia, which can be applied in outpatient settings. In the procedure non-toxic gases (nitrous oxide carbon dioxid) freeze the tissues to -20 degrees.
