Biofreeze Cryotherapy

Biofreeze cryotherapy is one of the treatment options for removing HPV (Human Papillomavirus) symptoms. External genital warts, oral and anal warts can be treated with liquid nitrogen applications. The procedure is relatively inexpensive, may be done without anesthesia, and doesn't leave scarring, if performed properly. Most patients experience little or moderate pain during and after the procedure. Biofreeze cryotherapy is one of the treatment options for removing HPV (Human Papillomavirus) symptoms.

For complete wart removal for most patients 3 to 4 trials are necessary, in 20%-30% of cases reoccurences are possible. The use of a cryoprobe in the internal genitalia is not recommended, because vaginal perforation and fistula formation are possible.
