Biofreeze Cryotherapy

Biofreeze cryotherapy is an alternative to cone biopsy, which can lead to a miscarriage. The use of a cryoprobe in the internal genitalia is not recommended, because vaginal perforation and fistula formation are possible. For complete wart removal for most patients 3 to 4 trials are necessary, in 20%-30% of cases reoccurences are possible. Biofreeze cryotherapy is an alternative to cone biopsy, which can lead to a miscarriage.

Most patients experience little or moderate pain during and after the procedure. The procedure is relatively inexpensive, may be done without anesthesia, and doesn't leave scarring, if performed properly.
