Cervical Cryosurgery

Cervical cryosurgery is applied for abnormal cells affected with human papillomavirus, if a natural remedy and other medications don't help. A pad can be worn for the discharge until the healing process is over. During this time of healing the cervix is susceptible to infection, so the patient should refrain from intercourse, douching, or wearing tampons for up to 4 weeks.
