HPV Colposcopy

For diseases such as HPV, colposcopy procedure allows better examination of the cervix to determine if cryosurgery is needed. Human papillomavirus is strongly linked to cervical conditions and is considered a sexually transmitted disease even though intercourse is not the only way of transmission. People with human papillomavirus often register bad odor and other signs and should undergo a close medical examination. For diseases such as HPV, colposcopy procedure allows better examination of the cervix to determine if cryosurgery is needed.
