Cervical Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Cervical squamous cell carcinoma is usually caused by the vaginal wart virus that also causes vulvar vestibulitis. In CIN 3 or severe dysplasia the entire thickness of the epithelium is disordered, but the abnormal tissue has not spread below the surface. If this condition is left untreated, invasive cancer of the cervix is possible and this disorder is very dangerous and difficult to cure.
