Colpscopy

Colpscopy

A colpscopy is used to identify and pinpoint the cause of an ASCUS result from a pap smear, and can be treated with the immune boosting a natural remedy. In this test the physician looks at the cervix through a large microscope with a bright light called a colposcope. The exam is not painful and has no side effects. If there are abnormal cells in the cervix, the doctor will order a biopsy.
