Abnormal Cell In Pap Test

The finding of abnormal cell in pap test is not usually caused by vulvar vestibulitis, but similar symptoms may be present such as vaginal discharge. Early detection of atypical tissues makes a complete cure possible, but if the problem has turned into invasive cancer, it is rather difficult to treat completely. Cervical cancer usually develops from moderate and severe cervical dysplasia, especially if the patient has HPV. Treatment for cervical dysplasia depends on the stage, risk factors and the desire of the patient to have children in the future. Usually a cone biopsy, laser ablation, cryosurgery and hysterectomy are used. Recurrence is possible, if the problem was caused by HPV.
