Cervical Dysplasia Infertility

Cervical dysplasia infertility may have HPV as a contributing factor if revealed in a pap smear. When abnormal cells are present on the cervix due to HPV, it is very possible that fertility could be reduced. With the opening of the cervix being small, not much swelling or lesions would be needed to make it difficult for sperm to penetrate into the canal of the cervix. Cervical dysplasia infertility may have HPV as a contributing factor if revealed in a pap smear.

Also if the there are a lot of T-cells, white blood cells, in the area fighting the virus or if the area is inflamed, it would be hard for the sperm to get past the opening. Researchers also believe that HPV may cause a drop in sperm count or mobility. Cervical dysplasia infertility may have HPV as a contributing factor if revealed in a pap smear.
