Leepcone

The leepcone, or LEEP procedure and cone biopsy, are usually performed with an ASCUS pap smear test, caused by the venereal wart virus. If your Pap smear test and a colposcopy exam show you have abnormal tissues on the surface of the cervix, the doctor may recommend several ways to remove abnormalities, depending on their stage. ASCUS, Venereal Wart

The procedure uses a thin wire loop with an electric current that acts like a surgical knife. A vinegar solution is applied to the cervix to show the abnormalities that need to be removed.
