Stage 1 Cervical Cancer

Stage 1 cervical cancer usually has warning signs such as the presence of vaginal or penile wart viruses, although infertility is not a warning sign. This condition usually develops very slowly over years, so it is easy to detect the problem on the earliest and the most easy to cure stage provided if a women is regularly checked by Pap smear tests. The precancerous changes may progress into malignancies in any woman who is sexually active. Risk factors are: multiple sexual partners, early engagement in sexual life, infection with HPV and intercourses with infected partners, smoking, weak immune system, exposure to DES and others.
