Squamous Dysplasia

Squamous dysplasia can sometimes cause infertility because of its effect on the cervix. This condition is often caused by HPV infections, which is sexually transmitted. Usually HPV virus is suppressed by the immune system of the organism and is usymptomatic, but some types of this virus may lead to cervical cancer and genital warts. Squamous dysplasia can sometimes cause infertility because of its effect on the cervix.

The risk factors are multiple sexual partners that increase the possibility of getting HPV and cigarette smoking that weakens the immune system. Poor nutrition and prenatal DES exposure also add to the risk. To prevent this condition it is important to have checks regularly. Squamous dysplasia can sometimes cause infertility because of its effect on the cervix.
