Severe Cervical Dysplacia

Severe cervical dysplacia (dysplasia) is a cancer risk for someone who has a sexual partner exhibiting a genital wart or penile wart. For high-grade stage of the disease it is very important to have regular checkings, because the abnormal tissue may turn into precancerous. The disorder is more likely to develop in women who have multiple sexual partners, began sexual activity early, and have a history of std. The symptom of this form of the disease is bleeding during or after intercourse. The condition may be treated with a cone biopsy, which is the removal of a cone-shaped piece of the cervix, containing abnormal cells. The operation can be made with a knife, cautery, laser, or wire loop.
