Cause Of Abnormal Pap Smear

There are many factors that will be the cause of abnormal pap smear, the hpv viruses, including the vaginal and penile wart, will effect cervical tissue. This test is the only way to detect cervical dysplasia, minor infections and HPV, which are not dangerous and can be easily cured at lower stages, but may lead to cervical cancer in several years. The problem of these disorders is that they are asymptomatic. A single test may mean nothing serious, but if several tests show abnormalities, colposcopy or biopsy are used to determine the nature of the problem and its location. If the affected area is not very large, it can be treated by biopsy or LEEP during the same visit.
