Softening Of Cervix

Softening of cervix is not always indicative of cervical cancer caused by HPV. In the second trimester of pregnancy, the cervical area feels softer, more like touching your lips rather than touching the tip of your nose. During pregnancy the organism of all mammals produces relaxin - a hormone that makes vagina and cervical canal softer. Softening of cervix is not always indicative of cervical cancer caused by HPV.
