Normal Cervix

HPV may impair a normal cervix causing dysplasia without other visible indications, but still requires colposcopy and cryosurgery treatment. This part of the uterus has all kinds of functions. It secretes mucus to keep sperm out of the uterus, or to store them for later use if the woman is about to ovulate. It will develop a plug to hold the baby in when the woman is pregnant. Its secretions lubricate the whole vagina. HPV may impair a normal cervix causing dysplasia without other visible indications, but still requires colposcopy and cryosurgery treatment.
