Incompetent Cervix Symptoms

Incompetent cervix symptoms such as inability to dilate can result from surgical trauma for which a colposcopy and cryosurgery is an alternative. Cervical canal about 1.5-2 inches long connects the uterus to the vagina and keeps the uterus closed. This cervical disorder occurs when the dilation goes without contraction in mid-pregnancy. The cervical canal may be too short and painful when pressure is put on the uterus. Incompetent cervix symptoms such as inability to dilate can result from surgical trauma for which a colposcopy and cryosurgery is an alternative.
