Dilation Of Cervix

Improper dilation of cervix opening can be a result of scar tissue from treating human papilloma virus ASCUS tissue. "D&C" is conducted if a Pap smear test doesn't clearly indicate the cause of abnormalities in the vagina or in the endometrium. The procedure takes not much time; during it the physitian enlarges the vagina and scrapes the inside of the uterus to get a piece of tissue for analysis.
