Cryosurgery, LEEP Procedure

LEEP procedures, cryotherapy, and cone biopsies are traditional treatments for atypical cells. These procedures are often invasive, and still they may not be successful at elimination of abnormal cells. Always seek a second opinion when faced with a serious condition, especially one that could affect the woman's ability to conceive a child in the future. Endometrial cancer of the cervix may require radiation therapy to accompany a cryosurgery or LEEP procedure.
