Tumor Of The Cervix

A tumor of the cervix may have justated from ASCUS caused by the human papilloma virus. A sexual partner whose previous partner had cervical cancer or dysplasia, or a family history of cancer of the cervix also increases risk. Some factors that may increase a women’s risk for developing cancer include having had an STD, chlamydia and HPV are strongly associated with cervical cancer. A tumor of the cervix may have justated from ASCUS caused by the human papilloma virus.

ASCUS, Human Papilloma Virus

Abnormal vaginal bleeding, bleeding after intercourse, douching or a pap smear, bleeding after menopause are some symptoms. Only when the cancer invades the surrounding tissue do the symptoms start appearing. This cancer if found early usually has no symptoms. Cervical cancer is most often found in women aged 40-55. A tumor of the cervix may have justated from ASCUS caused by the human papilloma virus.
