The Cervix

The cervix is not really affected by lichen sclerosus, but can become inflamed due to vaginosis. Every woman is recommended to pass through the PAP smear test annually to detect them. This organ is prone to various diseases: cancer, polyps, inflammation, erosion, intraepithelial neoplasia, dysplasia, and pregnancy. Lichen Sclerosus, Vaginosis

Itís about one inch long, and is penetrated by the canal (os), which permits the menstrual period to pass from the uterus into the vagina, and sperm to pass into the uterus. The cone shaped uterus that protrudes into the vagina. The cervix is not really affected by lichen sclerosus, but can become inflamed due to vaginosis.
