Female Cervix

The female cervix can be infected if a genital wart or a common wart are detected. When found early, cervical disorders are easily treated with good results. Complete pelvic exams including a pap test are excellent preventative measures. Some cervical disorders include cervicitis (an inflammation), polyps (not cancer), genital warts, and dysplasia abnormal cells that can turn into cancer if left untreated and cervical cancer. It is susceptible to infection, STDs, dysplasia, and cancer. It is considered to be the lower part of your uterus, and produces cervical mucus when a woman ovulates making it easier for sperm to enter the uterus. This is a critical part of the reproductive system. The female cervix can be infected if a genital wart or a common wart are detected.
