Cervix Thinning

Cervix thinning can result after sugeries to remove the human papilloma virus, such as a leep procedure. If left untreated, cervical weakness can result in repeated pregnancy losses or premature delivery. Any contractions leading to cervical change before 37 weeks of gestation is preterm labor.
