Cervix Erosion

Cervix erosion can occur from a Cone biopsy to remove a vaginal wart. Trauma induced erosions may only require avoiding further trauma to allow time for healing. If caused by infections, medications are required. The condition usually heals by itself, but if treatment is necessary, it is usually successful. There are typically no symptoms, but abnormal bleeding, or discharge may be present. Cervix erosion can occur from a Cone biopsy to remove a vaginal wart.
