Leep Cone

A leep cone is not a treatment for Lichen sclerosus, but is an option for human papilloma virus symptomes. During this procedure a thin wire loop carrying an electrical current is used to remove abnormal cells in the cervix. It is performed in the office or out-patient surgery with local anesthesia into the cervix. Slight discomfort, discharge and itching may be experienced for several days after the procedure.
