HPV Colposcopy

With the presence of hpv, colposcopy is often used for diagnosis but not for vulvar or external verruca viruses. If a Pap smear test shows abnormalities in the cervix, this procedure is made to examine the surface of the cervix closely and make the proper diagnosis. It is rather painless and simple, takes about 20 minutes and is performed in the physician’s office. With the presence of hpv, colposcopy is often used for diagnosis but not for vulvar or external verruca viruses.

HPV Colposcopy

  -

Vulvar, Verruca

The procedure is performed with a colposcope – a large electric microscope with a bright light on the end, which makes it possible to visualize the surface of the cervix. Abnormal areas are seen as white and no light can pass through them. With the presence of hpv, colposcopy is often used for diagnosis but not for vulvar or external verruca viruses.
