Some symptoms of cervical dysplasia will include vulvar infections such as vulvar vestibulitis and the presence of HPV. Exposure to DES and history of std also increase the risk. The disease peaks in women of 25 to 35, with multiple sexual partners, early onset of sexual activity, and early childbearing. The cause is unknown yet, but risk factors are identified. Some symptoms of cervical dysplasia will include vulvar infections such as vulvar vestibulitis and the presence of HPV.

The treatment depends on the degree of the disease and the desire to have children in future. Pap smears detect all kinds of the disease (mild, moderate, marked, and severe).
