Severe displasia, condyloma, and genital wart should be treated as soon as possible, as they can cause serious complications. The procedure allows patients to have babies in the future. It may be treated with a cone biopsy, which is the removal of a cone-shaped piece of the cervix, made with a knife, cautery, laser, or wire loop. In high-grade form of the disease, bleeding during or after intercourse is possible.
