A cyro surgery is aimed at removing the disorders caused by human papilloma virus; a cone biopsy or LEEP procedure are other options. The procedure doesnít affect the patientís ability to conceive and give birth. The tissue sloughs off and it is impossible to save it for further pathological examination. A carbon dioxide-cooled probe (a cryoprobe) is used to freeze and kill abnormal cells and lesions.
