Cervical Leep

With a cervical leep procedure it is easy to treat any vaginal wart and avoid infertility in women. Since a virus causes the abnormal cells on the cervix, this procedure does have a 9-30% reoccurrence rate where abnormal cells may come back. A traditional treatment for this condition is a loop electrosurgical excision procedure, which uses a wire with electricity running through it to cut away the abnormal areas. When a Pap smear shows abnormal cells on a females cervix, it is called dysplasia and is caused by HPV.
