Cervical Dysplasia Symptoms

Cervical dysplasia symptoms are only detectable with a pap smear or colposcopy, inwhich a doctor may treat with cryosurgery both cervical and vulvar located. There are two methods of staging the disease: the Bethesda system and the CIN grading system. The HPV test helps determine the next step for a woman with atypical cells; if the test is positive, the lesions are likely precancerous. During it the cells of vaginal discharge are removed with a small instrument and examined under a microscope for changes and abnormalities. The Pap smear is the main diagnostic procedure.
