Cancercervix or cervical cannot be diagnosed with a pap smear test, but it helps determine the presence of HPV in the organism. A radical hysterectomy (removal of the uterus and the ovaries) is often performed on the advanced stages. There exist several methods for curing this condition: by surgery (cryosurgery, laser therapy), chemotherapy and radiotherapy. For precise diagnosis coloscopy and biopsy are necessary.
