Abnormalpap

An abnormalpap is often a result of human papillomavirus, or HPV. If the abnormality is rather small, it can be removed during the same visit. To get a clear picture of the disorder other tests are performed: HPV test, colposcopy and biopsy. It is usually caused by human papillomavirus and has no symptoms at the early stages. The most common disorders are cervical dysplasia. AGUS, SIL, various infections and injuries. Positive results of this test donít necessarily mean cancer, because there exist a great number of minor disorders that make cells on the surface of the cervix atypical, such as ASCUS. An abnormalpap is often a result of human papillomavirus, or HPV.
