Cervical Dysplasia Leep

For treatment of cervical dysplasia, leep procedure (an electrical current) can be performed as well as cryotherapy (freezing) on abnormal tissue such as condyloma. Loop electrosurgical procedure (or electrocauterization) is a method of abnormal tissues treatment with low-voltage, high-frequency radio waves. Electrical current goes through the thin loop of wire and safely cuts away abnormal tisues. The operation takes about 20 minutes and is performed in the office. For treatment of cervical dysplasia, leep procedure (an electrical current) can be performed as well as cryotherapy (freezing) on abnormal tissue such as condyloma.

Cryotherapy, Condyloma

Elecrtocauterization allows the removed tissue to be examined by a pathologist. Other methods for abnormal tissues treatment are: cryosurgery and cryocauterization, laser vaporization or ablation, cone biopsy, and screening. The prognosis for the disease is excellent with proper treatment and follow-up. For treatment of cervical dysplasia, leep procedure (an electrical current) can be performed as well as cryotherapy (freezing) on abnormal tissue such as condyloma.
