Uterine Cervical Cancer

Uterine cervical cancer may have associated symptoms of urethritis and urinary infection. Endometrial carcinoma is cancerous cells of the uterus and unlike carcinoma of the cervix, its origin or cause is unknown. The number one cause in 80% of cases of carcinoma of the cervix is the HPV virus. Endometrial carcinoma is the rapid growth of cells in the lining of the uterus. Uterine cervical cancer may have associated symptoms of urethritis and urinary infection.

Carcinoma of the cervix is more prominent than endometrial. Endometrial carcinoma is the fourth most common cancer in women in the US; there were approximately 40,000 cases reported in 2002. Carcinoma of the cervix is definitely more treatable than endometrial carcinoma. Uterine cervical cancer may have associated symptoms of urethritis and urinary infection.
