Cervical Tumors

Cervical tumors may be treated with a LEEP procedure as in the treatment of vaginal dysplasia. The lower the stage of the cancer, the better the personís prognosis. The FIGO system classifies cancer into four basic periods, labeled 0 through 4. The stage is determined by information that is obtained through: biopsy and the pathology reports, cystoscopy, abdominal ultrasound, computer tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. Cervical tumors may be treated with a LEEP procedure as in the treatment of vaginal dysplasia.
