Cervical cancer vacine (vaccine) is on the horizon to prevent cancers of the cervix and subsequent surgical costs associated with cryotherapy, laser therapy, or LEEP. The research aimed at preventing the disease by vaccination showed promising results. The remedy targets human papillomavirus, a sexually transmitted disease that increases the risk of malignant tissues development. The studies provide hope that vaccination will be available in the nearest future.
