Cervical Cancer Therapy

When cervical cancer therapy results, check the partner for a penile wart or verruca. The medical community currently has no other treatment for cancerous cells of the cervix, except for surgical removal. The procedures are named the following: LEEP, Cone Biopsy, ECC, Cryotherapy or freezing. All of these are successful at removal of the cancerous cells, but have no guarantee to prevent recurrence. There is no known surgical or medical treatment approved to cure the HPV virus. The HPV virus is the number one cause of cancerous cells of the cervix; however, the body’s own immune system may trigger it to go away on its own.
