Causes Of Cervical Cancer

Causes of cervical cancer are linked to HPV infections that may appear as vaginitis or vaginosis. Infections of various types cause dysplasia, which can lead to development of abnormal tissues. Early stages of these conditions often have no clear symptoms and are difficult to diagnose without regular Pap smear tests. Precancers are completely curable when diagnosed early and followed up properly. Women over 35, women who had multiple sexual partners or a history of HPV or genital warts, women taking oral contraceptives are at risk.
