Cancer Cervical Leep

Cancer cervical leep procedure is an option to cryotherapy and other cryosurgery methods when a genital wart is large. The only option, which is medically approved to eliminate carcinoma of the cervix, is surgery. There are several procedures that can be performed. The most common is a loop electrocautery excision procedure. The other procedures are a cone biopsy or conization, ECC, or cryotherapy. Unfortunately there is a 15-39% recurrence rate after surgery. HPV is the cause in most cases of carcinoma of the cervix, and you cannot surgically remove a virus. This is why often times costly multiple procedures are not successful. Some women have had radical hysterectomies, and still have the cells return.
